Senior QA Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Lead to join our Gaming Quality Assurance (QA) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing QA efforts for our gaming projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality games that meet or exceed customer expectations. The Project Lead will oversee a team of QA testers, coordinate with game developers and implement best practices to streamline QA processes.

Job Description

Lead and manage the QA process for multiple gaming projects simultaneously. Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery of high-quality gaming products.

Team Leadership

Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure that team members have the resources and support they need to succeed. Motivate team members to achieve project goals and maintain high morale.

Quality Assurance

Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and methodologies to ensure the highest level of quality for gaming products. Conduct thorough testing of games across various platforms (PC, console, mobile) to identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues.

Collaboration

Work closely with game developers, designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality standards. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address QA-related issues and drive resolution.

Documentation

: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports to track QA progress and results. Document and prioritize bugs and issues using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) and ensure timely resolution.

Continuous Improvement

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in gaming QA. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the QA team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in gaming QA, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Prior experience 1 year in a leadership or management role, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) and other QA tools.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming mechanics, genres, and platforms.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi for business-level communication, in addition to regional languages is a must requirement for this role.
  • Willingness to work from our Hyderabad Studio.
