3D Technical Artist
Job Description
Be able to show technical proficiency in areas such as lighting and rendering, texturing, and graphics-related programming languages such as Shaders
Have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modeling to texturing and special effects
Be able to customize art packages so that they are as streamlined as possible for specific projects
Be able to work well as part of a team
Have good communication
Be able to work with minimum supervision
Have excellent organizational skills
Be able to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations
Have knowledge of console hardware architecture
Be highly skilled in the use of 3D graphics software like, 3Ds Max, Maya, etc…
Have good knowledge with game engines like Unity, Unreal, etc…
Be able to anticipate the needs of the artists so as to streamline their productivity
Have knowledge of the requirements of the relevant health and safety legislation and procedures
People management skills, in order to train and mentor others will be a Plus
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).
Proven experience of 5+ years in gaming QA, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Prior experience 1 year in a leadership or management role, preferably in the gaming industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) and other QA tools.
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming mechanics, genres, and platforms.
Proficiency in English and Hindi for business-level communication, in addition to regional languages is a must requirement for this role.
Willingness to work from our Hyderabad Studio.
